Indicator Audit

Privacy

Indicator Audit has no way to identify a reader, and the sections below explain why that is a matter of construction rather than of policy.

No Sign-In

The site takes no submissions of any kind. The pages are documents to be read, and nothing more interactive than that.

Nothing Is Stored

The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to browser storage. A reader arrives, reads a document, and leaves nothing behind.

No Tracking

The pages carry no analytics, no tag manager and no advertising pixel. Readership is simply unknown here, which is unusual on the modern web and entirely deliberate.

How Pages Are Delivered

Serving a page necessarily involves a server receiving a request. That request data belongs to the hosting provider, is held briefly for operational reasons, and never reaches the publication itself.

External Links

Outbound links appear throughout the guides. What happens after that point is between the reader and whoever operates that site.

Changes to This Page

If the site ever changes in a way that affects this description, the description changes with it. It is updated whenever that construction changes, rather than on a review calendar.
